En-Mazing Race is an annual environment challenge organised by youths at a national level. It is also an Amazing Race with exciting and intellectually stimulating station games related to environment-saving.
Objective:
En-Mazing Race aims to engage youths in the green efforts of Singapore to be part of the new global change. This race also hopes to educate the people and public on environmental friendliness & build awareness of the current global environmental situation.
By participating in this event, all will get to involve schools across the nation to maximise interaction and participation.
But most importantly, it is to have fun in an educational way and save the Earth together as ONE!
Details of En-Mazing Race 2009
Date: Saturday, 11th April 2009
Time: 7 am – 5pm
Venue: AROUND SINGAPORE!
Fee:S$50.00 per team (5 students per team)
Target: Upper Secondary Students
Form team of 5 and compete in this mini-alike AMAZING RACE you have been always watching on the television and wanting to join so much!
Programme:
0730 – Registration
0830 – Race Flag-Off by Guest-Of-Honour
* Teams start race around Singapore *
1600 – Teams’ arrival to base
* Teams submit their race chip*
1800 – Prize Presentation
1900 – YOUTH-phoria (concert)
